![]() I think I like the top chest layout of the 23 drawer box better but I can't understand why the bottom box design is different between these boxes! The main socket drawer on the 18 drawer box is an inch taller (5.1" vs 4.1") and has double slide rails. OP, did you end up going with one of the Husky boxes you were considering? If so, which did you choose and how do you like it? I'm also looking into buying a Husky HD box currently and I'm considering the same 52" model you listed as well as both the 18 and 23 drawer versions of the 56" boxes.įor the 56" boxes, both the gray 18 drawer and blue 23 drawer boxes are currently the same price at $1198 which is several hundred less than the black version of either box configuration. Does anyone have experience with this box and use the full width for sockets or anything else heavy and have any insight to how it holds up? I guess it boils down to if I should be worried about the single sliders on the full width of the 56. I'm not opposed to using different drawers for sockets and something else, wrenches maybe, in the full width drawer. 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 in chrome, 3/8 1/2 impacts, ratchets and extensions. I'm leaning towards to 56 but I'm a little concerned about the single sliders on the full width drawer and overloading it if I use this drawer for sockets. ![]() Pros: Larger box, more small drawers, magnetic wall is easy enough to addĬons: single sliders on the full width drawer.
